Download and extract the files. 

2) 
Execute the "Adobe Acrobat 10.1.2 Pro X" app. 
Click on "checkhosts" 
click "next" 
select your language, then "next", and "next".

Select your installation preferences. 
I would disable "ARM Services" as this 
is a silent install of updates. 
Myself personally I will not disable updates.
